Description
Dawn Consultancy is a UAE professional services firm providing audit, accounting, tax, and corporate services. The company is seeking an Accountant to join its accounting and bookkeeping team in Business Bay, Dubai, working with a portfolio of client companies.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records for client companies.
Perform bank, accounts receivable, and accounts payable reconciliations.
Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules under IFRS.
Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and maintain tax records.
Assist with Corporate Tax calculations, registrations, and returns.
Prepare payroll and Wage Protection System (WPS) files when required.
Prepare year-end accounting records for audits.
Communicate with client finance teams regarding queries and documentation.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
Two to four years of accounting experience.
Experience in an accounting or audit practice handling multiple clients is preferred.
Working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, Tally, or similar accounting software.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Understanding of IFRS and double-entry accounting.
Accuracy, deadline management, and clear written English.
Two to four years of accounting experience.
Experience in an accounting or audit practice handling multiple clients is preferred.
