CBD Digitalization & Analytics Assistant Manager

Unilever is seeking an Assistant Manager for Digitalization and Analytics to manage commercial data, business intelligence, and analytics for its Arabia Customer Business Development function. The role supports multiple GCC markets and retail customers.

Key Responsibilities

Manage commercial datasets from retailers, distributors, and internal systems.

Maintain data quality, master data, and data models.

Build and maintain ETL pipelines using tools such as Power Query, Python, SQL, and Azure Data Factory.

Develop Power BI dashboards, DAX measures, reporting systems, and automated workflows.

Analyse sales, distribution, stock, market share, pricing, and customer performance.

Maintain data reconciliation and data-quality checks.

Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data processes.

Develop data-driven insights for joint business planning and business reviews.

Lead, coach, and organise the work of a small analytics team.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in business intelligence, commercial analytics, or data-related roles.

Strong Power BI skills, including data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.

Proficiency in SQL.

Python experience for data processing, automation, and matching/ML.

Understanding of FMCG commercial metrics, sales data, stock, market share, and profit-and-loss reporting.

Experience building reporting solutions from scratch and automating manual processes.

Ability to explain analytical findings clearly to business leaders.

Experience leading a small analytics team.
