Description
Al Marwan Group is seeking a qualified Estimator with experience in road and infrastructure projects to join its Estimation Department in Sharjah, UAE.
The successful candidate will support tender preparation, cost estimation, quantity measurement, and commercial evaluation for infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Review tender documents, construction drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and contractual requirements.
Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, pricing sheets, and detailed rate build-ups.
Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Identify discrepancies in BOQs, scope gaps, commercial risks, and cost implications.
Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Support tender clarifications, commercial evaluations, negotiations, and final submissions.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
3–5 years of relevant experience in road and infrastructure estimation and tendering.
Strong knowledge of BOQs, construction drawings, specifications, and quantity measurement.
Knowledge of CESMM or an equivalent method of measurement is mandatory.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, cost estimation, and detailed rate analysis.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and tendering procedures is an advantage.
Strong analytical, commercial, and organisational skills.
Relevant experience in roads and infrastructure contracting is required.
3–5 years of relevant experience in road and infrastructure estimation and tendering.
